In 2020, I undertook my first Public Art project by painting a 9 by 20 feet street mural in downtown Kitchener, commissioned by Kitchener BIA. I realized the enormity and the thrill of creating something which would be in public view everyday. I realized how my art had the power to add a little bit of cheer to someone's life when exhibited in a public space and help connect me to everyone who walks the street, passes by a store window or sits on a picnic bench.
